chapter 2: an overview

so as the home schooling group winded down, and my dad got bored of his teaching job at a local university teaching 6 or 7 different kinds of college level science classes, we decided to move. i have no idea why my parents chose to travel maybe it was there life time plan, but never the less we did. we sold everything we owned in order to purchase an old European trailer camper. however we did not have the means to pull it. so for a weak or two, we had a couple drive it around for us with there minivan. with them we headed to river cane rondavue which is a native American skills festival, which i absolutely miss attending every year. like i said we only traveled with them for a year. probably because on the way home a lady that fell asleep behind the wheel barreled into us. we were all fine but i remember looking out my window and seeing her van rolling along side us going just as fast as we were which couldn't have been under 60 miles an hour. the van that belonged to the couple we were with was fine, however our camper was smashed and twisted so badly we couldn't retrieve our belongings from its belly. after the accident we purchased another European camper ( this one being able to drive itself), three kayaks, five bikes, and one sail boat. we traveled to all the states besides Alaska and Hawaii, and sailed on the great lakes, and at least two oceans.

Chapter 1: Stillwater

so i was born in San Diego California sense that was where my dad was stationed in the navy. we lived there for a year or two, and then for the same reason headed to Washington state where my sister was born. after a year or two at that location we headed to Stillwater Oklahoma. where my brother was born at home by a mid wife. you may know is the home of OSU, where my dad finished up college. at the time i loved Stillwater and Stillwater was at that point of my life where i started to collect memories that i still can remember today. this whole time i was not enrolled in a school, my parents chose to home school me. and due to that we joined a homeschooling group, where we would meet with the same few families, every time it being at another location either a park or someones house. just like Stillwater i loved the group, especially because of a boy named Evan. Evan was a few years older then me, i believe i was about 6 or 7 at his point and he was probably around 10. now my memory often fails me around this time and i don't really remember how our interactions went, but i do remember that i loved the guy. we spent several months with the group in tell one day Evan and his family came over to hang out with us at our house. now my dad is a very fun guy, he would always come home from work and hang out and have something fun to do, i loved him and would always look forward to spending time with him. however so did Evan, and sense i loved Evan so much and he liked my dad so much he chose to spend time with my dad. which made me a little upset i imagine (like i said i don't remember this point so accurately this is all stuff i get from my parents). now my dad who was only looking out for me decided he would tell Evan to go spend time with me. and that day created a whirl wind of drama. a whirl wind that would separate us for the rest of our lives. I haven't seen Evan or his brother Arlen or there parents sense that conflict, but that soon left our minds for the next chapter in our lives required us to leave all the people we had made connections with.
